Proud of being Yorkshire born and bred, and having enjoyed my working life operating out of Leeds, I have worked for clients all over the world. This said, I have never been in a happier place than I am now exploring the creativity of painting either commissions or my own projects. I believe that creativity is not the exclusive domain of those who may demonstrate a talent within their chosen fields such as art, drama, music etc, as I have come across many people who have an immense ability to be creative, often without realising it. The simple action of our thoughts that push the normal or mundane further towards the more interesting, radical, adventurous, entertaining or maybe unexpected, is what makes us all creative.
My personal problem is that there just isn’t enough time to persue all the ideas that I have clanging around in my head which means one often has has to prioritise the “doable” from the “that will have to wait”. This I can live with as long as I reach the age of about 150 years old.
